Russian: Caviar & Vodka Toast

(serves many)
Ingredients:
- Bread (dark Russian rye preferred, or sub any dark Eastern European bread)
- Butter (room temperature)
- Salmon roe (or sturgeon roe, if you can afford it)
- Vodka (potato vodka like Chopin have the cleanest “flavor”)
Procedure:
- Cut bread into bite-size pieces
- Spread butter on bread
- Top with salmon roe
- Pour a shot of vodka into a glass
- Say “За здоровье!” [za zda-ró-vye] (literally "To your health!")
